Henry Veng, an aspiring next generation of entrepreneur with a passion for business development and community’s interests. He is a Cambodian migrant to Australia in 2014.  His academic life at Curtin University in Australia and majoring in commercial law degree it also open up new dimension in being one of the founding member of a student association, Cambodians of Victoria (COV) the primarily mission is in giving social support and mentorship to Cambodian youth studying in Australia. Cambodians of Victoria’s aim is to maintain a close relationship between ASEAN and Australia by bridging them through event such as Australia ASEAN Youth Summit to engage in common interest discussion and develop future business opportunity. Currently, Cambodians of Victoria has become the largest Cambodian student platform in Australia. Australia advance economy with small business innovation, also present an opportunity for him to play a role in it. 

In 2018, he started his own hospitality business for three years, bringing jobs to local and support the community’s interests. The journey of a start-up has faced many challenges along the way, and we need more support than before. Currently, he is working as a business consultant firm in Australia which allows him to share experiences and support new start-up companies to succeed.

 Australia is a welcoming multiculturalism community. Henry is hopeful that being an executive committee member of AUS Asia Business Council will allow him to support the business relationship, greater the business opportunity between the emerging economies within regions.
